Dr Shammi Theesan recommends clients schedule an annual skin check to monitor moles and abnormalities, with a biopsy performed if necessary, to ensure safety and due diligence.

OVERVIEW OF THE SKIN CHECK:

Your medical skin check consultation with Dr Shammi Theesan provides a thorough and considered assessment of your skin for any areas of concern.

If a lesion appears clinically suspicious, a biopsy may be recommended and performed with your consent. Where possible, this can be undertaken on the same day; however, in most cases it will be scheduled as a separate appointment. Our team will prioritise this where possible.

Biopsies are billed separately and may be eligible for a Medicare rebate.

DURATION:

The skin check appointment is 15 minutes and may extend beyond this where neccasry.

PRICE:

This consultation fee for new clients is $370.00, and the review fee is $370. Medicare rebates are applicable with a valid GP referral.
